Daily Themes

Monday - Living Life to the Full with God

Each one of us is unique, born with our own gifts and talents. God wants us to discover and develop our talents and to use them to make the world a better and kinder place.

Tuesday - Living Life to the Full Together

We learn many things in school, Literacy and Numeracy, but we also learn how to be a good friend and how to be helpful and kind. God asks us to learn  how to be the best person we can be, being kind to ourselves, each other and the world around us.

Wednesday - Grandparents' Day: Celebrating Being Together Again

Our Grandparents can teach us about the past and about the importance of working hard and doing our best. They are teachers who show us how to love, how to be caring and how to share.

Thursday - Living Life in Wonder and Awe

We are called to remember that we are responsible for keeping our environment a safe and beautiful place to live in. In our Catholic school, we use our gifts and talents to make the world a better place.

Friday - Living Life and Facing the Future

We are asked to think about how we live life to the full and face the future. The COVID-19 pandemic brought so many changes and challenges to our lives. As we reflect on this, we look forward with hope to the future. Together, as a community that is kind and cares for each other, we look to the future with the hope and the joy of the resurrection.

As part of Catholic Schools Week 2022 Online Programme (see below) Bishop Donal McKeown held conversations with people involved with Catholic Education. These chats have been insightful and inspirational, revealing the gift that our Catholic Schools are in the Diocese of Derry.
