Fantastic news... we have two winners in the local Credit Union Art Competition. Congratulations to Ameira McCallion P.4 Mrs MCusker’s class who came 1st in the 7 years and Under category and Clara Jane Delaney-Heaney P.5 Miss Smith’s class who came 3rd in the 8-10 years category.
The judges were impressed with the style, colour and content of both pieces. They also said that out of the 1000 plus enteries this year Ameria’s piece stood out and as a result it also won at the Chapter (regional ) level. It has now been sent to Dublin to be judged at the National level. We wish Ameira lots of luck for the National competition!
