On Friday 8th June Primary 5 attended the open day at Crescent Link Fire Station. Pupils were given a tour of the Fire Station and saw a number of demonstrations. The pupils learnt what do do if there was a chip pan fire in their home, with the important message of don’t put out with water. The fire fighters also showed the pupils how they rescue people if they are called to a car crash. The highlight of the day was when the pupils got to use the hose, great fun on a very hot day. All pupils went home with the important message that if there is a fire, Get out, Get the Fire Brigade out and Stay out. Thanks to all the staff at Crescent link for a brilliant day.
