Our Try-A-Tri Team had a great training session this morning with Ms Logue, Ciara and Danny ahead of Friday's big event at The Sports Complex, The Caina Healey Children's Try-A-Tri. Danny then spoke to the boys and girls about his many amazing accomplishments including 10 Iron Man events in 10 days!! That's 156 lengths of the pool, 112 miles on the bike and a 26.2 run every day for 10 days. Ciara then spoke to the class about Caina Healey, an inspirational young teacher and athlete who was passionate about sports and was someone who always encouraged children and young people to improve their lives through sport.
Outstanding performances all round in the Try-A-Tri Competition. The children were buzzing with their achievements. Well done to athletes and organisers.
