Message from Mr. Devlin

1st May 2020

Dear Boys and Girls,

I hope you are all well and working hard on your school packs. I think it is a good idea to try to get as much of your English and Maths completed in the morning and then do some nice creative activities in the afternoon. I have noticed that some children have made some beautiful May altars in their houses so that we can honour Our Lady during this very special month of May. I have also been very impressed with the entries for Mrs Callan's Dance Challenge. There are definitely a few contenders for Strictly Come Dancing in the future! I have loved watching children sharing their musical talents with us through their beautiful singing as well. Cooking and baking are always activities that I enjoy seeing children getting involved in. I have been impressed with children making cookies and delicious buns. Things always taste nicer when you make them yourself. I am also delighted to see all our new P1 children sending in their replies to tell us that they are excited and looking forward to starting P1 in the Autumn term. We'll look forward to giving them all a big St Patrick's welcome when they start! I can also see from our face book page that children are practising their skills in Irish language, art and I even saw a P2 pupil riding a two wheeler bike without any stabilisers! All of these activities are wonderful and you should all be so proud of yourselves. It just goes to prove what I have said all along - You are all brilliant, amazing, gifted and very talented boys and girls. Keep up the great work and take care. Mr Devlin
