Message from Mr Devlin

21st Apr 2020

Good morning boys and girls,

I hope you are all well and enjoyed a lovely Easter holiday. I’m sure the Easter Bunny arrived and left loads of eggs! I’m sure they’re all gone now but I hope you enjoyed them nevertheless. We have also been very lucky to have had such beautiful weather to enjoy in our gardens or on family walks. I’m sure you have noticed lots of signs of Spring – new leaves on the trees, lots of flowers in bloom, birds building their nests and lawn mowers cutting the grass! I even saw a hedgehog wakening up from his long winter sleep and looking for some supper to keep him going.

It is also the start of our third term at school. I know it’s strange for you to understand because you’re actually doing your school work at home. However I know that you are doing really well and working really hard because I can see all your wonderful photos on our face book and your teachers have been telling me about your great work as well. I will be looking forward to seeing loads of really creative examples on face book of art work, dance, exercise routines, musical instrumental work, singing, technology and drama this term. I know that you will have great ideas! I also want to reassure you that nobody is going to fall behind in their work as long as you keep up with the work packs. If you are stuck at anything you know that you or your parents can contact your teacher by email to get a bit of help and guidance. Once we get back to school the teachers and classroom assistants will be working really hard to make sure that everyone is back on track again with their learning.

So in the meantime keep up the hard work, get the creativity thinking caps on, have fun, smile and laugh and giggle if you like, remember to say your prayers and I and my staff will look forward to seeing you all soon.

Take care

Mr Devlin
