Odd Socks Day
8th Mar 2022
8th March 2022
Dear Parents
We will be asking the children to wear odd socks to school on Friday 11th March to create an awareness of a medical condition called Lymphoedema.
Lymphoedema is the build of fluid in soft body tissues when the lymph system is damaged or blocked. This condition affects millions of people worldwide.
We are not asking the children to raise any money but simply to create an awareness in a fun way by wearing odd socks. Please do not purchase new socks for this day – simply choose odd socks from those that you already have at home.
Thank you for your support
Yours sincerely,
Mr Devlin
