Provisional dates for Confirmation ceremonies

Dear Parents,

I am writing to inform you that Fr. McCaughey has now provided us with provisional dates for Confirmation ceremonies.  Like last year, ceremonies will take place one class at a time.  This will allow for social distancing and improve the safety of those gathering in the church.  The Confirmation ceremonies for St. Patrick’s Primary School will take place as follows:

• Monday 14th March at 4.00pm – Mrs Callan’s class
• Tuesday 15th March at 1.00pm – Mrs Moore’s class
• Tuesday 15th March at 4.00pm – Mr Bradley’s class
• Wednesday 16th March at 1.00pm – Mrs Adlard’s class
• Wednesday 16th March at 4.00pm – Mrs Smith’s class

The ceremonies will be celebrated by Fr. Noel McDermott, Parish Priest of Faughanvale, Star of the Sea Church.

Each child can have up to three family members present at the ceremony.  Please note that this includes the Confirmation Sponsor.  Fr. McCaughey would ask families to respect this decision as each child will be allocated a separate row for their group.

Fr McCaughey has stressed that these dates are still provisional and are subject to change depending on Government guidance.
