Sperrin Fun and Heritage Farm School Trip P3
The primary 3 children visited Sperrin Fun and Heritage Farm and they had an educational fun filled learning experience. They learned about the role of the farmer. The pupils learned that farming is part of their community and how seasonal change affects crops, animals and vegetation. We saw many animals and birds including alpacas, lamas, pot bellied pigs and peacocks. We were given the opportunity to hold baby chicks or young puppies. The children got the chance to ride on a quad train, go on bouncy castles, go karts, see the fairy garden and go down an outdoor water slide. A big thank-you to the management who made our visit so successful. our children were very well behaved and we are very proud of them.
