Titan and Friends
Titan and Friends - Animation Project
Mrs Crumley’s P7 class are so excited to unveil a project they have been working on last term. Over the past few months they, along with St. Mary’s Primary school in Dublin and Nettlefield Primary School in Belfast, have created their own animation. The pupils worked collaboratively with Fighting Words NI, Fighting Words and Nerve Centre to write the script, record narration and give ideas for the illustrations. They met up over Zoom with the others school to come up with a story about a cat, Titan, who has very big dreams and who goes on a very big adventure all over the island of Ireland.
The animation was showcased in Dublin Castle at the Government of Ireland’s Shared Island Initiative event. The Shared Island Initiative aims to harness the full potential of the Good Friday Agreement to enhance cooperation, connection and mutual understanding on the island.
Our pupils were treated to their own private screening of the animation before Christmas at the Nreve Centre and had the most fabulous day - They were treated like film stars!
We are all so proud of the boys and girls and all the hard work they have put into this project. Thank you to the Nerve Centre and Fighting Words for asking us to contribute to this project. It was amazing! So sit back, relax and enjoy their animation, Titan and Friends.
